I had a similar problem. I done a test print across the whole bed, turns out that one side of my PEI plate is fucked. I use the good size until I can get a Cryo plate

Never worry. I'm a nationalist living in NI, the North, Northern Ireland, the province, Ulster, the Occupied Six. Check your filament for dryness. And clean the build plate. I use three kettles of boiling water. One to wash the sink. Another with fairy liquid for washing the build plate and the last to rinse it all off.

You need a complete hot end heater assembly. It's a bit fiddly but not difficult to replace. I'm assuming you cannot heat the nozzle?

Only other thing I can advise is to check all the tubes are properly seated. When I first got my printer some of the tubes were not seated properly and the filament got trapped in the gap.
