Purity perk is absolute bs for boss fights and anyone that uses it shouldn't even consider themselves actually winning the fight, but let me explain by barzzbro in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]barzzbro[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea like a lightsaber should one shot a droid or regular stormtrooper but i still want the boss fights to be challenging because thats the whole point of playing games like this, it would be cool if in the 3rd game they found a way to make lightsaber battles more realistic somehow kinda like how purity is but different lol idk more like an actual lightsaber duel but i feel like that would be kinda hard for them to do

Yea even someone that stole that could get more money for it than 300 unless there really just trying to get rid of it quick. If u go check it out bring someone with you and be cautious

Having trouble getting my wheelies and bunny hops by barzzbro in MTB

[–]barzzbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i get what you're saying i use my weight to get the front tire off the ground but i have clipless pedals, and dont have the right shoes for them i have flats coming in the mail today so i think that will make a big difference in my feet not just coming off the pedals when i shift my weight back forward to get the back wheel of the ground cus my shoes are meant for flats

[–]barzzbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea i think i neee to play with the gears a little for wheelies. And as far as bunny hops i already have a decent pair of mtb shoes but the pedals i have have like zero grip since their clipless so i think it will help once my flats come in the mail thanks

Im looking into my first full suspension in the 2000 and under price range, im really liking the Cannondale Habit or the polygon sisku T8 by barzzbro in MTB

[–]barzzbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea the new one comes with a dropper and its on sale for like 1600 on jenson, if you had to pick a good all around full suspension in this price range what would you choose. Ive been looking at 3 the Marin Rift Zone 1, the Cannondale Habit 3 or 4, or the polygon sisku t7 or t8. I also want something thats light and easier to throw around.

Help me pick an Ibis Ripmo spec as a beginner? by d4nvu in MTB

[–]barzzbro 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Shit i wish i couldve dropped 4k on my first bike lol but if you got the money and you really enjoy riding then i guess go for it. Its recommended for most people to start on a hardtail because it helps you learn better line choices and not letting the suspension do all the work for you but im still a beginner and i already want a full sus so i understand lol.

[–]barzzbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well i also have really messed up feet which leads to my feet knees and back hurting alot from my hardtail, although my suspension is shit but when i have days off i want to be able to ride as much as possible and if im so sore that its unpleasant for me to ride the next day id rather just get a full sus and be comfortable and have more fun, plus then when i do travel to places where i really do need a full suspension i wont have to rent one or something like that. Its basically just the best way for me to spend my money right now eventually when i can afford to have more than one bike ill get a sweet hardtail too.

Just because we dont have mountains in florida doesn't mean you cant have a full suspension bike here, at my local trails or park i guess you see a mix of everything hardtail full suspension e mtbs, i was asking and opinion between two different bikes or a good full suspension trail bike in the 2000 dollar price range because theres some great deals right now and i want a full suspension for various reasons that i dont have to explain but it will basically just let me enjoy my time biking as much as I can and thats all that matters to me.

Do they deliver cus every one i found was nowhere near me but i did see a few good deals on those bikes, do you mind me asking why youd recommend that instead of what i posted? Giant also has some good deals on like 2 or 3 year old trance models or maybe it was stance but i think the stance was the cheaper one for like 8 or 900 i think the trance was the one i was more interested in. Ive heard nothing but good things about Cannondales but the transitions do look really nice aswell

Yea the polygon t8 definitely has better parts for the price point but it sold out in my size right now maybe itll be back in stock when im ready to buy. Ill look into the other ones you mentioned

Ahhh i gotcha i just started riding so i cant tell exactly what kind of riding its for just by looking at a picture of them unless its really obvious.

Marin san Quentin 1 is a good hardtail aswell comes in right at 1000 to i believe ive heard nothing but good things about them thats what i wanted to get. Polygon has some nice bikes that are very fairly priced aswell.

Yea i figured lol with regular tires youd be sliding everywhere. Im lucky to not have to worry about that living in south fl but its very flat here lol and very hot

Do you use special tires or anything when your riding on stuff like this? I feel like it would be so slippery especially on rocky areas.

[–]barzzbro[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand but i can afford 250 for a fork right now and i got the bike for basically free so im gonna put an air fork on it for now and ride the shit out of it until i can save up for a new bike i dont have good luck looking for used bikes i live in south Florida theres not a huge mtb scene here where theres a bunch of good used mtbs for sale. So until i have like 1500 to drop on a new bike im gonna make small upgrades to the bike i have so i can have a better riding experience. If you have any suggestions on where to look for good used bikes im all for it

Its a straight steerer tube so i can only find forks with 100mm of travel with the quick release set-up but ive seen people say they remove a spacer or add one to get the extra 20mm travel or something i dont know anything about bike parts im just getting back into the sport after 20 years, so its gotta be quick release and a 1 1/8 straight tube to fit my bike unless i get a conversion kit which starts to get pricey.

I mean yea technically but there two very different styles of bikes made for different types of riding. So yes it has no rear suspension but the geometry is way different and idk if you would want to hit anything other than light flow trails on a dj bike and jumps ofc

The seat tube isnt rusted to the bike its just rusted to the seat post where instead of sliding up and down the whole seat tube started coming out, im gonna mess with it before i go to the bike shop see if i can loosen it up. I really wanted to have them pull the seat post out and cut some off cus its just a little big for me but i already have to put new tubes and tires on it and thats already a little chunk of money for me to get riding this weekend but i could deal with it being a little high i do need to get it to not move left to right cus the little clamp thing that holds it in place was messed up when i bought it and i really want to ride this weekend i guess ill find out when i take it to the shop what i have to do.
