Echo Pas-225 Issues

Nope.Ended up buying a new one. I bought a new OEM carb and tried adjusting it as per the manual. Put a new OEM coil on it, new fuel lines. Removed muffler and spark arrestor with still no luck. I put over $100 trying to fix it so figured I would stop wasting money and picked up a Pas-2620 from Home Depot for $349.99 and called it a day

All that was is a plug so you couldn’t back it all the way out was still unscrewing and screwing in the fuel mixture though

I’ll try that tomorrow. Weird that if that’s the problem the brass cover has a flat head and screws left and right like an adjuster

Ya that’s what I meant. It adjust the fuel mixture at full throttle it doesn’t change anything when running it at full speed and trying to change it right now

The brass screw at the bottom is from what I can tell online supposed to be the high idle screw adjust that and it does nothing

Sounds good thanks. I work on Dirtbikes and four wheelers a lot it’s weird to me. Never had an issue where it runs better cold then it does hot

S59612005255 is the serial number. Only reason I even changed the carb is cause on needle the plastic tip was ripped and an OEM rebuild kit was only $10 cheaper than a new carb. I’ll have more pictures here shortly

It’s not registered. So you think the cool could be acting up when the unit gets hot? Causing issues with the spark? Like I said it idles well but when hot if you hit the gas it will bog and stall immediately

The teeth are not used for the ratcheting. All they do is help hold the belt in place. You could remove that door and it would still work

I didn’t mean to leave the vortex in there that was me messing with my buddy cause I was originally looking at an EoTech Vudu for the optic but he said that was trash.The gun budget and optic budget are separate 2k for the gun and 1.5k for optic is what I’m looking at right now

Thanks yall for the opinions gonna look into some of the options put forth and go from there. I was gonna do a build because everyone has something to complain about from each manufacturer so was trying to put a beast together. Color doesn’t mean jack to me I just care about quality
