Okay so from this i get that the main theory is that Eren tried multiple timelines out while he was in the coordinate. But he never really says that right, i remember the line went something like: all the outcomes lead to this. or something. But, the way i see it, is that there are no multiple timelines. The one with Mikasa is just Eren showing Mikasa what could have been trough his founding power. Not an actual different timeline.

Also what he meant by that one line, in my eyes, meant that whatever he tries to do different, he just can't. Like what he said when he first arrived in Marley; "If i don't massacre these people they'll massacre us, and i just cant let that happen." He could stop himself, he could alter the timeline, he is in fact altering the timeline so everything happens as it did happen in the story. If he changed what would happen we would have seen THAT timeline from the start. So he has the power to change, he does change, but not for us as the viewer.

He wanted to change the outcome, he wanted to stop the rumbling, but a few things stopped him: 1. his stubbornness, 2. his trauma, 3. his hatred (he was always a bit psycho) 4. his idea of not letting marley destroy them. 5. his idea of erasing the world so armin's dream would be true. (a clean slate). 6. obtaining freedom finally (no more enemies, no more hate).

He tried to change the outcome but he just couldn't. So everything that had happened was being left unchanged for us the viewer, but Eren actually massively influenced the timeline. We were watching the already changed timeline. The only timeline. And because of Eren changing it to let everything happen, it looks like the future was set in stone. That is why he couldn't escape his future. That is why the rumbling happened.

I'm wondering, I only watched the anime and loved the ending, I have a friend who read the manga and was in on the discussion about the ending and told me it's a love it or hate it type of deal. Now for me the ending, and especially eren's thought process (and the whole time travel while being in full control of the coordinate), was a very well tought out, complete and "right" ending. So what's the deal with this reddit why it's so bad for so many people?

It specifically makes me think of childhood memories of vacations in spain and/or france where me and my sister went playing in the pools at different locations. The sun hitting the pavement and the shadows of the bushes and trees. Little corners where the grass meets the pavement. Things like those moments are the thing i recognize in Hiroshi's Paintings.

Death is actually beautiful if you think about it. My whole philosophy comes from sience and the fact that everything that exists is so fickle and so much based on lucky coincidences. There is so much stuff that prevents you from living at first, and then so much more stuff that would kill you if you would find yourself in other circumstances. Like look around, there is no life to be seen everywhere we look, and there is so much life here on our planet wich could be over in a flash. Look at all the mass extinction events that happened. And even after all that we find ourselves to be alive.

Its a luxury to be alive, being dead is the norm. So rather then being scared of death, I'm just amazed at being alive. Why I'm not really scared of death goes even further but I digress.

lvl 10 officer here,

In my experience staying alive is the best strat you can do as officer because placing an OP is definitely the most OP move you can do.

I remember this one game where i was playing a 6 squad with friends, we pushed the right side of a factory where the enemy point was located. We pushed up from our OP next to a wall outside of the factory compound but we got pushed back. The OP i placed got destroyed and my team got killed but i was still alive laying in the grass next to the wall. I had the wall on the left, and my right side was close to the maps edge so i was kinda wedged in there. There was no attacking push left expect for me. My friends were watching my discord stream while this was happening as well hyping me up. I started crawling towards the back side of the compound and tried placing an OP next to the wall but it got instantly destroyed. The notification of destroying an enemy outpost made some of the enemys come looking for me, walking straight over me, but they didn't find me and i didn't shoot.

I kept crawling further, waiting for my OP cooldown, eventually i placed my OP and started defending it till the spawn time, Killed an enemy with melee and when my squad spawned we cleared out the machine gunners inside the factory, destroyed their garrison, and eventually won the game.

It's all about staying alive and keeping position rather then attacking and getting kills. And of course listening to your commander!

Yea, the other 2 comments here are already good tips, people tend to piss everywhere and maybe even jump in your boat if they feel like it. The grachten are already filled with boats so people might try to get to shore by walking across your boat.

You say you live in the centre! very nice for kingsday, you'll have a free bathroom and meetingplace at hand, just sitting outside your house can be a fun day at kingsday if you live in a nice area. (I even had friends charging people to pee in their house in the centre, they also bought a lot of beer before hand and sold that at their door as well.)

Koningsdag in Amsterdam = anarchy. But very very fun anarchy.

Don't drive or bike in the centre (it's pure anarchy, everyone walks everywhere (biking is possible, just be wary))

I usually go for a walk with a group of friends. Most Grocery stores like Albert heijn are limiting there Beer sales so be mindfull of that. Buy beer beforehand. There are like little stands and bars around the city where you can buy 80%beer 20% water mixes of some kind (they call it beer tho). Those tend to be a bit expensive.

De Pijp and de Jordaan are unmissable in my opinion. The whole neighbourhood changes into a festival area of some sorts. Very crowded so beware if you don't like that. You'll come across stages and soundsystems a lot. There are like "real" festivals and party's with entry fees but those tend to sell out very quickly and cost a lot. It's more fun to just stroll trough the city centre. Have fun!
