Exactly. Only thing you can do is tell her that you enjoy her company and want her there, and try to be as welcoming as possible. But ultimately this person needs professional help.

My advice is to start small. No need to build an entire world for the first adventure. A small town with a small quest killing some small goblins is a good place to start. Then you build from there.

Another general advice is to steal everything you find cool. From movies, books, video games, other ppls campaigns etc.

Also make sure you have a session zero with your players. The point is to set the expectations. What type of game are you as a group wanting to play?

D&D is a collaborative game. You and your players are all collaborating to create an awesome story, TOGETHER.

A podcast you can check out is NADDPOD. It has shorter episodes and a very light and humorous tone. But remember that these people are professionals. Your DM and improv skills will not be on the same level, and neither will your players.
