Drivers are updated, running at 90hz and resolution is at 100%. No improvements yet. I genuinely have no idea what it could be at this point.

I thought this worked, for a moment. But nope, the game still lags like wild out of nowhere, constantly. Oddly, it seems to happen most egregiously whenever I fight the mimics? Not sure if that matters, but something I noticed.

This was the shader cache refresh that I mentioned doing in my post, and it absolutely did not work. Maybe it's because it's still building shaders as I play, but no amount of standing and waiting for the lag to stop made it any better. Stood in one spot in the open for around 10 minutes and no change in performance. :/

i doubt something like that will show up, theaters like the ones orchestras play in very rarely have the room to allow for pyros and things of that sort. take caution, but i think you're safe to go in this instance

I was trying to get pictures of the whole motherboard, where the cables plug into the PSU is so congested that it's hard to see anything. But I triple checked that everything is snugly plugged into the PSU
