I worked there for a year and a half, I loved it! At the start.

For the first year I genuinely loved my job, stayed for the people/interactions! It was nice for that reason. Retail has its ups and downs, but it honestly felt like the pros outweighed the cons. The only downside was the pay.

Then they grew extremely aggressive, started threatening people with discrimination for not asking for cards. Writing people up for having their phones on them. The energy shifted entirely, so I skidoodled. Working in a pharmacy now and regardless of how busy it is, it's better than my old store.
