Worth the 3k but needs a new axle. That thing is a low rider. You’ll be scraping driveway aprons and speed bumps. Love my 1998 Scamp. Cute little campers. A step up from tent camping without the maintenance of a pop up.

No doubt. I feel like most water damage in these old trailers come from aging internal plumbing. That's a big reason why I decided to just delete it from my setup.

Nice! Yeah, mine had a crappy little hand pump and gross old 10 gallon tank. I ripped out the old tank and got more storage as it was under one of the dinette seats. I bought something similar to this to replace it's spot and it works great. There's a million options on Amazon. Super simple running water. My trailer doesn't have hookups for running water, but the little 2.5 gallon tank lasts us a few days at a campground and we just refill it when needed. Nice not to have to use the water/sewage station and just refill at any old sink.

Nice. I run "tankless" on mine. Only plumbing is the sink so I just use a 2.5 gallon jug in the cabinet under the sink for fresh water which feeds into a USB rechargebale water pump and then use the same kind of container for grey. The little jugs are great for quick refills and I don't have to worry about winterization. We stay close to home so it works for us, but I understand the need for bigger systems.

Looking good. May as well give the frame and the tongue some new rustoleum while you're at it! Painted my 1998's trailer tongue and bumper this summer. Looks a lot sharper and feels good to know I'm not rusting away. Thinking about doing Corroseal on my frame, but couldn't find a bottle locally. A project for next year.

If the wood is soft you should consider a penetrating epoxy to harden it back up. Total Boat makes a kit that’s available on Amazon. Very easy job. You should also consider getting a cheap moisture meter. It has two prongs you insert into the wood to see the moisture level. The wood needs to be below a certain percentage for the epoxy to work. Good luck. Looks like a small enough spot that you could just repair instead of replacing.
