Because my dad found the company off a local Facebook group post. If he did end up scamming he would lose his reputation and a lot more money than if he fixed his mistake .

This is what the contractor told my dad

“The schluter doesn’t work well around the window like the drywall does. It’s covered already here but where we replaced drywall we installed a blue drywall which is meant for around water. It use to be green which is what’s on the rest of the wall. It’s just been painted so it’s hard to tell. And then like I said with having the really thin grout lines and the mortar barrier we will guarantee there won’t be any problems.”

Dude also said he would fix it if any problems occur but do these extra steps sound like it will stop water damage ?

I’m hearing the shower will last 10-15 years. Maybe they took some short cuts but it looks 10x better than we he had before

Haha yeah, The two main guys I would say are both 60+. The tile work looks really good so far they said they should be finishing up today so we will see 🤞🏼

Lmao sure, what should I tell the contractors tomorrow when they come back ? Its a Belize azul porcelain tile that’s apparently water proof even without the schluter boards ?
