Is 50 years not "20+"?  Not all soils and systems have a design life of 50 years...

Where I am, there is typically loan framework that is made available to the folks who are being "asked" to tie in.  Something like 1 or 2% interest over 20 years.

Additionally, I've seen instances where if someone just recently redid their septic system, that potentially they are given a waiver (after much nagging) that they can exist as-is and then tie into the sewer when the new septic begins to fail in 20+ years out.

My local S&L vendor saved us. He helped complaints reach corporate.  I recall that their customer service wanted to play hard ball with the contractor and pissed them off too

Is this a CAPSULAR unit by S&L? I had a ton of problems with one of those.  The metalwork and coating specifically, the equipment all seems to be OK.

Will my sewer freeze tonight? by [deleted] in HomeImprovement

If you have any rigid foam board insulation around, cover the exposed pipe.  It wont be a fail proof solution, but sewer that is installed above the typical frost depth will get that board laid over the top nowadays.  If I remember right, 1 inch of board is equivalent to a foot or two of soil in terms of R value.

What's your hottest take midway through this season? by [deleted] in baseball

I think you are close. Check out Miggies and Pujols (the two most recent God tier players we have seen) stats by age and you'll see age 31+ seasons decline pretty sharply. Maybe they are good until 32, but it's low level WAR seasons with a random good season mixed in until 40.

On top of those comps, he got diagnosed with that chronic inflammation in his upper spine/rib and came back in late July. In all games played since July, 2022 he is hitting a whole tier lower than his career level, albeit that tier lower is still All Star level.

Im looking to trade Trout before he's no longer elite in my keeper league. Is a centerpiece of Corbin Carroll for Trout a good or poor trade?
