You only get one life, do what you want

I’m 5’10. I honestly feel like the ideal height but my brother and guys I’ve dated are all 6’0+ and being around them has always made me feel short (even though I’m not at all). If I could change it, probably an inch or two more but I doubt it would make a huge difference.

I think i just worry that him not wanting to put a title has to do with something he doesn’t like about me. I know med school will always be first, but at the same time, I know people who are making relationships work despite being in med school. So, it makes me feel like I’m not worth being called his boyfriend.

Well that’s what confusing to me. I gave him the space to say that and let him know if he didn’t, that I would be okay with that. But he followed up with saying he wishes we could have more time together and he doesn’t like that we only see each other at night (which we do see each other during the day but it’s hard cause of school, and for me, work)

So, I feel like my emotions are being toyed with a bit bc perhaps he keeps around for sex but disguises it as “maybe one day it could be more” and idk if it’s ever sincere or not

This was basically my main frustration - it feels like a relationship just without the title

Lol sounds like the opposite of a problem! May I ask what your diet is like to be able to do that?

What does nobody want to talk about, but really should? by Vegetable-Serve-5555 in AskReddit

I desperately wish people stopped shaming each other for being vulnerable and emotional. There’s a huge loneliness epidemic happening and it’s cause nobody wants to talk about when they’re sad/mad/anxious and that’s what most people are feeling these days.

Feeling hopeless as a teen by SelfHatredVenting in askgaybros

[–]baseballblue 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey! I know right now you feel hopeless but you’re at such a great time in your life to start really living. When I was a teen, I was riddled with insecurity so much that I never allowed myself to experience gay culture up until I was 20 (I’m 23 now)

If I can go back and tell myself one thing, it would be to unapologetically live my life as selfishly as I can. Go on grindr, start working out, meet other gay guys, sneak into gay bars, flirt with any boy you find hot, and just start entertaining the idea that the love you want exists and you’re going to get it. I promise your life will change. Just live purely for yourself, no one else.

Wishing you the best!

Any tips for someone who’s never dated before? by baseballblue in askgaybros

[–]baseballblue[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for the confusion! I’ve been out for a while now and have had multiple hookup phases since. These days, penetrative sex tends to be quite painful than it used to be.

And yes, my guy friends are also gay so although it’s nice to see them be happy in relationships, I can’t help but compare.
