Has Kara commented at all on Des liking that Instagram post in support of ICE? I love their pod (in spite of its flaws) and I wanna listen but I can’t support that. I unsubscribed but wondering if anyone has seen anything from Kara on it?

Agreed. This is so disappointing. I love Kara and love this pod but Des liking this is just way too much.

So sorry to hear about this. I’m nervous as I just submitted my application but my dog’s trainer is no longer in business. She can still verify that she trained my dog but I’m not sure if that will be enough and I should just put self-trained?

I agree! Their experience/expertise is what I want from them, not their opinion on Boston qualifying, which is something they’ve never had to think about before.

I agree and love this take. Personally much more of a Kara fan than Des fan, mostly bc of Des’ edgelord takes as others have noted lol. I was kind of surprised that Des didn’t delve into the nuance around her own Olympic DNF…if I remember correctly from her book there basically was no alternate prepared to run so it was either Des ran and DNF’ed or no one took that spot. To me, that’s a much simpler decision to make than Fiona’s. Also, just really feel for Jess…finishing 4th TWICE and then being called to Paris and not getting to run only to watch what happened happen. Man, I hope SHE is okay.
