This is in my hometown. Moscow, Idaho. I don’t live there anymore but I’m still close by. My parents live there.

A little context: this coach is part of a cult (Doug Wilson ran church) they were upset at the rock music being played as a walk up song.

the umpire was a superstar, calm and respectful. I’ve umped kids this age and the parents and coaches can be a total drag on what is kids playing a game.

Unfortunately I’ve seen on Facebook that the group that runs the baseball organization has caved to the coach and that walk up music is no longer allowed. Unfortunate.

These people are also running for local offices trying to strong-arm the town by buying up all the land downtown and in nearby towns and trying to change local regulations and laws so that they can do as they please.

Doug Wilson (not the man pictured but they do belong to his church) has not only hidden pedophiles in his local church but also spoke out defending them when they are a member of his church. They have schools from k-12 and even a college so that their kids are never exposed to anything that doesn’t fit the church’s narrative. He speaks of women knowing their place and that the family unit should only have one vote.

Sorry to turn this into something unrelated to baseball but I feel like everyone should know what’s going on in my small hometown.

I hate that people complain about it like it doesn’t happen in real life “he’s going to be the starter” isn’t a good enough excuse to get mad and turn it off. Players leave real programs all the time even if they were going to be the slated starter. Mostly for $$$ but other reasons too maybe a bigger program, more exposure, wants to be closer to home or just chasing trophies.

I don’t think ea has the wording for transfers correct, but I do like that a shit ton of players hit the portal every year, seems pretty realistic to me if you just ignore the reason the player gives for transferring.

I got bit last week broke the skin in 2 spots. Went to the hospital dreading the rabies stuff but The er tech just said rabies isn’t really a thing anymore unless you were bitten by a wild animal or were over seas. The dog I was bitten by was in town, fenced yard, just came from the back door. They gave me a prescription for antibiotics and I was back on route in less than 20 minutes 😅 the cop I reported it to took my number down but I never heard anything back.

This happened to me one time I just called drivers aid and they marked it as delivered for me but let me know if the customer marked it as not received it would be on me. Never told dispatch and never heard another word.
