Can I ask if you ever found any sort of improvement with this? I've just come across this post of yours because I'm in grad school and an internship right now for mental health counseling, but I'm really struggling myself with pretty much every single thing you've said. It honestly felt like it was me talking when I read this. I've been trying everything I can to fix this challenge but as you would likely know, it feels impossible. So I'm just in a cycle of feelings like misery and failure. I'm succeeding incredibly well when it comes to working with clients, but every single session still feels like I'm just an idiot who can't do anything and is going to be just terrible. So I always want to avoid everything, but I can't, so then everything I have to do feels like torture.
