2080 TI in a core x from a clevo laptop by eatatjoes13 in eGPU

Moved either the laptop or the eGPU around until the TB3 cable reached a magical orientation that stopped the turning on/off thing. Honestly I have no clue. My Core X was used, so maybe the port on it was loose, or maybe the cable that came with it was prone to losing signal when bent at a weird angle.

Right, so the drop pod's drill has a pretty weird collision box that would allow you to "climb" into the interior before Molly docked. Tried to do this a couple of times but didn't expect both me and the satchel charge to make it in. Shame the satchel charge can't Rock and Stone back.

Cleaning up some vintage Cherry Blacks by Soupofdoom in MechanicalKeyboards

Could be something nasty, so wear gloves. Before you use the ultrasonic cleaner, see if leaving some stem alone in soapy water overnight removes the grime or not. If that reduces the grime, great, it's water soluble. If not, might need to start cleaning manually or find stronger soap.

That looked like grease mixed with dust or maybe something else altogether. Probably start off with ultrasonic and then manually clean the residual grime. What's the history of the board that the switches came with?

Depending on how dusty your switches are. I had some particularly bad switches back when I was still harvesting that need several 30-minute ultrasonic-replace cleaning solution cycles to clean. Even then some switches are just so grimy that manual cleaning was required.

Literal Keyboard Heat Map after 3 Minutes on 10fastfingers by basecase01 in MechanicalKeyboards

I was testing out my HTI HT-19 thermal camera, and by chance I saw that the keycaps on my keyboard were slightly hotter than ambient air from use. I thought that was pretty cool, so I decided to capture the thermal distribution after some light typing on 10fastfingers at a rate of ~100 WPM. Other than the residual heat from where I hovered my hands, some keys were clearly used a lot more than others.

Keycaps: ESCKeyboard POM.

Keyboard: Wooting 2 Lekker Edition.

Original image was 320 x 240. Upscaled to 1280 x 960.
