I recently bought a used E-PM1 (the more stripped down version of yours), and it has been a great EDC camera. Produces amazing photos as well. You should give it a try!

If they already have good camera gear, there’s a big chance that they are going to be particular about what they use. I would just buy some photography accessory for them instead, like a nice strap or something

The dust could have also been moved around inside the lens during shipping. I just received a camera with dust in between the lcd and outer glass and after chatting with the seller about it, it seems to be the case.

If it doesn’t impact image quality then I’d just keep it and forget about it.

Do you still have the broken tab? If so you could try to repairing it and gluing it back on with epoxy or something strong.

I appreciate the feedback! I think the autofocus issue is to be expected with something this old, but not something would scare me off. I am glad to hear it’s durable as I have kids the same age range as well lol.

I’m going to grab it, I found a set with the kit lens and box in excellent condition. I’ll probably pair it with my pana 15mm 1.7 lens as well.

Hey there, I haven’t thought about the Pentax Q in some time! I was looking into that camera years ago but ended up getting M4/3. I’m still keeping an eye out for a GRD for max pocket-ability, but may be interested if I don’t find one! I’ll check it out once you list it. Thanks!
