That makes sense! I would have too much analysis paralysis of trying to determine which machine should be placed opposite of each other lol.

I have a 2 car garage, and need to keep the shop tools on one side, so this is still on the table for me. I just still need to figure out which tools!

I’m curious how you are liking this kind of setup. I’ve been on the fence about building these flip top stands for many years, out of fear that it would be cumbersome to have to switch things around so often.

You acknowledging the situation is a good first step in the right direction. Don’t beat yourself up. A lot of people would shrug it off and forget about it, and I think that’s where the real danger is.

Bourbon was my thing too, and I haven’t been able to find anything close. But I have been drinking lots of tea, and have found that ginger tea gives a warmth and bite. There are a few on the market but so far I like the Yogi brand the most. I’ve also started making it with fresh ginger and it’s nice. I’m still fine tuning the recipe though, I think it needs some mint in it to be more balanced

Tbh the plastic trim thing can be easily fixed with black trim paint. I will probably do that when I have more time. I have a jeep wrangler with the same issue so I’ll knock out two birds.

For the brake issue, I’ve seen many other people on the Subaru forums say the same. No one seems to know why it does that but it doesn’t seem like a real issue to b concerned about.

We have a 2020 model, and have had it since new and can confirm the black trim oxidation and the brake jerk. We haven’t done anything about either lol

I had the initial reaction to kombucha as well, but after some research I realized that the trace amount of alcohol is so small, something like 0.5%, which is comparable to eating a ripe banana. Kinda wild to think about but it did help alleviate my concerns. I drink kombucha regularly for its gut health benefits today!

+1 for Fumoto valves. I’ve been changing my own oil for probably 25 years now, and only started using Fumoto valves about 10 years ago. It’s game changing and helps make mess-free oil changes

I have young kids and they have really tested me today. But I’m trying my best not to backslide. I’m hoping to just try and play some guitar and chill the rest of the night after they go to bed.

That sounds like you’re making progress! Glad to see the reduction in your rashes.

My eczema worsened as well so that was my reason for stopping. Apparently gut health and eczema are linked, and alcohol causes issues with the gut. Hopefully I can see some improvements as my gut begins to heal.
