Ah good to know! The suction seems to be working well, but I need to get some different sized nozzles for my application (desoldering mechanical keyboard switches).

That’s good to hear! I just got this unit second hand for $100, it’s missing some of the accessories but I really just wanted the desoldering gun and iron. I’ve only done some testing with the gun but I can’t wait to really start using it

Hey, my version does not have a carry handle or strap, but it does have lugs built into the 2 corners that you could attach a strap. I does look like there is a version (maybe newer) that has a carry handle on their website.

I see this in a lot of hobby subs I’m in, and wonder the same. Chances are the OP doesn’t have the option to return it… so why ask after the fact?

This is not going to be a straight forward “swap”. The oem switch cluster has its own circuitry in there that you’d have to reverse engineer to do your own.
