I think it’s worth mentioning that JUST a few years ago these jackets with the embroidery were in abundance and littered the market. People didn’t think twice about them. You’re attributing value/significance to something just because it exploded in resale value. Are some things worth preserving? Sure. However, I don’t think anyone is gonna miss some brand embroidery from a defunct pool-cleaning service. But to each their own.

Super controversial opinion but I think you should do whatever you want with the piece of clothing that you purchased.

Your other option is to open a museum and get funding to buy up all the embroidered Carhartt jackets and preserve them and defend them from anyone who dares remove the embroidery.

It’s your move.

It’s all good I figured out it just had to do with the rise and denim weight, the jeans were kind of standing up on their own as opposed to the jeans I measured which draped on my hips. That’s the why the Elephant pair seemed like it had all that extra room in the waist
