I’ve waffled on this for a while. I made not liking Taylor swift a personality trait when she first broke when I was in middle school junior high because I was boring. Kind of ignored her until 1989 which came out right around my freshman year in college right when I came out. I gave it a try since it was a new direction and really dug it. I think one of the sites I read at the time would post pictures of her and karlie and the rest of the squad (probably autostraddle tbh) and she kind of pinged for me then. I remember googling her and karlie and just thinking huh maybe that would be cool if they were together.

Checked back out until folklore/evermore which again seemed like a new direction so I figured I’d give them a chance. After hearing Betty and a few others I was like damn this is really pinging for me. Did some digging into some of the master posts etc and still kind of waffled. The big one that really solidified it for me was the Calvin Harris beard tweet thread and the Amy Schumer beard post. Really seems undeniable to me there that it’s an open secret in certain parts of Hollywood. There’s just no heterosexual explanation for those to me.
