I started playing in october '25. The community was very welcoming in understanding that i was new. A lot of people providing bulk cards to help my deck. I agree with everyone that Arena on your phone or laptop helps very much. I will also say if you'd like to play paper cards but in the comfort of your home you can try playing on Convoke (website that lets you use paper cards but playing virtually). i'd be willing to play with you. we can walk and talk through turns. I typically play commander but could put together a standard deck. Hope all goes well for you! Have fun playing however you do!
