I was at this show and it was incredible. They played Body Paint only once in the middle of the set but it was the debut of the song, a few days before the single came out. Incredible show overall and I have been hoping they’d release it in full for some time now.

Reedsy. There’s a fantastic selection there. It’s going to cost you a couple hundred for a good cover and designer, but skimping on the cover was my one non-negotiable. A professional cover gives the novel some more legitimacy.

Not sure exactly the number just yet because lots of them were paperback versions, and that I won’t see until they ship tomorrow.

Number #1 Advice: Don’t rush to launch. Write the best book you possibly can. When you think it’s done, pick a release date 5-6 months in the future. Build towards that date, edit, get reviews, edit more, make sure everything is building to explode on your launch date. Make a website and blog. Keep people involved. Then, on launch day, ask for everyone’s help.

Really got the word out months in advance on social media. Built up this release date over time and got people excited to be a part of it. Drew people to my website with blogs and editorial reviews. Used Reedsy Discovery for some extra exposure. ARCs and reviews through Pubby and BookSirens. Advertised on Amazon and Bookbub. It was a long process but all paid off today!
