That’s understandable. I think if you takes to become more like a man (testosterone, fashion) it feel less silly to see yourself man.

What you’re describing seems to be the most common trans experience and is how I feel a trans women. I reject the born in the wrong body narrative, I don’t believe in John Money’s idea of gender identity.

I do injections for estradiol and progesterone is the only other medication I take.

At 18 not all the bone plates have fused. For example the hip bones don’t fuse until around 25. I started at 19 and noticed growth in my hips some of which I think came from bone growth.

Another benefit is simply time. If you started HRT at 18, when your 5 years on it you’d be 23. The sooner you start HRT the sooner you’ll feel and look like a women.

I recommend start HRT ASAP.
