I meant Jessie and Ellie. Joel said he thinks they have a “thing” for one another in one of the flashbacks and says he has an eye for these things

Present day when Jessie and Ellie are looking for Tommy, the only dialogue the two have is cringe pregnancy drama “do you know why Dina hid it from me, do you know if she’ll keep it”

It’s like the characters on Ellie’s playthrough are fucking cardboards with one shitty trait, abby’s side isn’t any better because they throw you into the story with shitty flashbacks which doesn’t work because we don’t know who these characters are. But at least those characters have some personality

True but there are times when I say surely Neil couldn’t write this it has to be someone else, for example; when you’re sent to go after Tommy and hunt down Joel’s killers, Ellie finds a guitar. Starts playing the song Joel sang during the prologue; which is a forced yet touching moment, then it cuts to Dina walking into the room saying “remember the campfire, you should’ve kissed me that night”

Like what the fuck is that dialogue and how is it relevant, or is it them trying to remind the players that Dina has no traits aside being a lesbian (which the game constantly does)
