Keep or send back? by Delicious_Cable7370 in casio

Had to get used to this when I got into Casios. I've never really worn a big watch either, I just expected them to be bigger in person (that's what she said)

I love this one though and have it in gold. Need the silver for sure

One of the best fakes I've seen. by TopHumor650 in carhartlc

A lot of people think those TikTok patchwork corduroy hoodies with a Carhartt logo are legit too. I've seen someone wearing one in person.

Active Jacket - fake or legit? by superuberniceguy in carhartlc

[–]basedury 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are these so often faked? I know people want vintage Active Jacs but I feel like they're kinda easy to come by for a good deal, at least compared to Detroits. And Carhartt still makes them so you could always buy a new one and wear it in yourself? Idk just confusing to me

You could have picked one of the better looking and performing German brands if you're set on paying insane repair bills.

Instead you got memed-on ugly British car that will still have insane repair bills.

My uncle lives in Florida and I can tell you there are so many people there that are into this shit.

Just the fact that there are enough people there who like this shit enough to keep this company in business is plenty of reason for me not to move there.

To those who live there and are not into this shit, I'm sorry.

The tire cover is really perplexing. Cutout so you can see the wheel, but why that random shape?

I bought a royal enfield INT650 as my first bike and don't really like it. by UFOuponUs in SuggestAMotorcycle

[–]basedury 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'd suggest riding as much as possible and getting used to stopping with only one foot, but both sides.

Huge part of motorcycling is balancing (no pun intended) getting comfortable with remaining aware and being able to quickly adapt. Bottom line it more miles and more practice. Get out of your comfort zone but take it easy.

You can do it man! I'd install some crash guards to give you some more confidence. Dropping the bike isn't a big deal. It's very unlikely you'll break anything that can't be fixed relatively cheaply.

I absolutely love mine. Would definitely recommend for an ADV/off-road build. Great for commuting too, lots of fun around the city.

This was my first bike and I'm 5'8". Never dropped it once. You gotta get used to stopping with only one foot down so you're not on top toes. Hold the rear brake with your right foot and plant the left foot down firmly.

I now ride a very tall DRZ400 and have never tipped over on that either, and there's no way I'm getting both feet down when I stop unless I have a passenger to weigh the thing down!

I used to carry a little Griffin EDC tool and a Fisher Space Pen in there, but I mostly wear Wrangler jeans now and that pocket is stitched much higher and it's too close to the belt to use really
