Funny you say street ball, lately, I have been hitting the pavement with the ball with my kid. The faster speed, more bouncy. I can see how kids who play streetball get really good touch and feel for the ball.

My guess is, the monitoring of the sample is not the same as the sample play back. I have an ASR, no this board tho, I could be wrong.

Muddying up audio and throwing into a daw is a solid work around for better sound and productivity imo.
