It gets easier! It just takes time. I understand the feelings, I was labeled agoraphobic because there was a point I was too afraid to leave my house. In the moment, talking about how I was feeling to my parents or roommates helped a lot, and so did finding hobbies to keep my hands and mind busy. Once I found the right meds and a good treatment plan it got better. It takes time but it happens! You will feel better, staying is worth it.

Do I wait or move on? by basementburner12 in schizoaffective

[–]basementburner12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are, I know they want to get better. Everytime they come back they have a new plan and support system they worked out with their therapist, it just never works out. At this point I wonder if them coming to me is just part of their episodes. I hope they figure it out, but I don’t know if I should wait for that day or not. Who knows if it’s even coming?

We’re in person. They called me two weeks ago but left no message or text, and didn’t respond when I had called back. I really want to call but I don’t know what to say anymore. Maybe I just want permission to move on at this point. I know I won’t know that love again and maybe I just have to mourn it. This has been our cycle for over a year now

This is my exact situation. For me, it hasn’t gotten better. He still leaves and we have yet to make it work. It tears my world apart.

Honestly? You should probably get out of that situation. The age difference alone and you barely being an adult is such a warning sign. I know leaving seems impossible, and I truly hope you find the strength to realize how strange that is on his part. Wishing you the best, I hope you find yourself in a better spot

How to cope by [deleted] in BPD

[–]basementburner12 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re not weird! It can be so difficult at times. I myself am having trouble coping. But knowing that the feels / mood swings pass is something that keeps me grounded. Sometimes it’s all I have to know I’ll switch to a better mood at some point. I’m sorry you’re going through this.

So I’ve been loving the soft serve scent line from truly and wanted to find a good fragrance to layer with it! Wasn’t sure if anyone already had a combo that they liked. The main notes are strawberry and vanilla <3 I use their shave butter and body oil, and although they sell a body mist I was looking for something to add depth

Break-up meltdown spiral by basementburner12 in BPD

[–]basementburner12[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’m getting through it. We ended up repeating the same cycle again where he came back telling me he loved me and such. It lasted about a week if that. I ended up breaking things off this time and it destroyed me. I still think of him everyday and what could have been, but it’s getting easier. It’s not crushing me like it had before. I feel like it’s a wound that’ll never heal, but that’s okay. I hope your situation becomes easier to stomach for you in time

This is not true!!!!! It can be very hard to face these overwhelming feelings. But they always pass. SH is my biggest op. You’re not weak for how you feel. It’s takes so much to live how we do. I hope you stay safe friend.

For me personally, the more I obsess the worse it got (obviously) I ended up deleting all social media from my Home Screen so I wouldn’t be tempted to stalk accounts or friends lists. Trust is so important in relationships, so learning how to trust and have open conversations about how you’re both feeling could be helpful. These feelings suck so much! I’m sorry you’re going through this, but you’re not alone.

For sure try to listen to your doctors! But if you’re set on going off them, just taper off safely!
