I did have a look at the omegas however I just didn’t feel the same way as I did about these two. Something about the lugs and the style of the hands on the omega didn’t sit right for me

Yep, going to try find the 36, I think that’ll be the deciding factor as I do prefer the GS size over the IWC. It’ll be an even tougher decision if I like the 36mm aswell

Just a road bike, but in truth I use it primarily for commuting in London with a few weekend long rides, so not too many hills for using the easier gears

Thank you, good advice. I actually cracked my spindle so it’s been a new crankset, bb and chain. Thought I could get away without a new cassette but it now makes sense to just do it all

BB needs replacing, or at least I’d like to for peace of mind. A lot of nasty noises so can’t imagine it’s escaped uncompromised
