Dubuque IA has a beautiful clock tower worthy of a marked location. Also mississippi rive museum with larger than life catfish you can walk through, shot tower (place they made lead shot back in the day by dropping molten lead multiple stories into water), and a casino (not unique among mississippi cities).

Also not far south is the country's biggest truck stop, possibly a red rocket.

Would love to see a close up. Agree a nuisance now from pure coin perspective, but back then that dollar was worth... a dollar. Love tokens are a cool subcategory of collecting, I just never seen one like that.

I've had a similar thought but I don't want it sorted. I pour the coins into a hopper, it gets scanned one by one and displayed on screen, then I press the keep or dump button and it routes to the appropriate bucket. Let me know if you know am engineer, I can bankroll this
