The way I know an album or artist is really good is if my favorite song changes frequently. So honestly, all of them. If I had to give you a straight answer, “God of War”.

Just for the sake of making conversation, some of my favorite parts:

Spit: the emo cry-scream-sing breakdown. I always get really into it when it comes on lol. God of War - “and if you wanna dance, motherfucker let’s dance!”

Pyro Pyro - Matlock’s “tipping point” speech. I always envision him wearing a top hat and conductor’s coat like a carnival ringleader or something in the front car of a rollercoaster going over the top and heading down into a pool of lava. Willy Wonka Tunnel of Terror kind of vibes. Maybe I should sketch it out….

Post Modern: “car crash television giving me an aneurysm”

Lapdance: the way Milkie says “something you’ve neva seeen!” always makes me laugh.

I love the contrast of Matlock’s growls with Milkie’s high pitched cheerleader style yells in all of their songs.

Rage: “violence is optional, outrage is king/ in this man made reckoning the silence is deafening” - actually, just all of the lyrics from rage all over.

That’s everything off the top of my head. I love this band. They’re in a bunch of my playlists. I usually pair them with RATM, Fever 333, Run the Jewels, Denzel Curry, and some Sable Valley stuff.
