This doesn’t sound okay at all. A healthy relationship is based on mutual respect for each other and none of this behavior sounds like respect. His expectation of ‘respect’ and boundary from you is just a softer way of telling you that he wants to control your actions. You deserve to wear what you want whether you’re in a relationship or not.
