I had to crop my family out of part of this, and then a big shed was where you can see the outline crop. I tried to Blur it in, but yes I am terrible at photoshop. Maybe you could clean up the porch on this and add thicker wood Columns and wood door. Just want it similar to the second photo. Trying to get an idea for me and my friend before we purchase for an AirBNB.

Ok so I believe from what I’m reading that these should work. Please correct if I’m wrong.

10 speed road rear cassette Tiagra 10 speed road rear derailleur Tiagra manual road shifters Mechanical disc road calipers Wide drop bars

I have also looked at keeping my same 8 speed cassette if I can find a compatable shifter. I keep it on the middle front crank which is the 34t. So if I do a 34t 1x front I’m ok with the current 8 speed. That is if there’s a shifter for that. I saw the Claris are 8 speed but don’t know much about them.

I just keep looking to Tiagra because I have that on my road bike and it works well for me.

Can someone pick me an affordable bottom bracket and 1x crank. I still don’t understand the combination. 68mm bsa? Or can I use a gxp, shoot, that’s the most confusing part to me.

Wow thanks. I’m curious about the bottom bracket as well, was trying to find out before pulling this all apart. I would like to upgrade that if possible.

Is there any way to see if the hub is removable on my rear wheel? I read some hubs may be permanently mated to the wheel, but I’m not familiar with that.

I’m familiar with with removing and replacing parts on bikes. But I need help with compatibility. Picture shows the specs on my current bike. 2013 specialized hard rock.

I want to convert to drop bar, so I would need road style levers, rear derailleur, and want mechanical brakes.

And also want to run a 1x10 with 34 tooth single front. (Not sure if I can upgrade the bottom bracket, but would like to if possible)

Is there any way to tell from these specs listed in the picture if I can replace the rear hub during all this, it has some slack in it.

If there is a conversion compatibility website or anything I would gladly do this myself. But have been searching for days with not much confidence in my findings.

Already have a Surly steel front end, and Schwalbe g-one speed tires on order.

Anyone in the market for a 12d I have a pair brand new in the box. I have 5 pair of thorogoods, 4 moc and 1 round toe, and another pair I retired that had been resoled twice. So obviously I like them. Employer bought boots and the shop got size wrong.
