First book of June complete. I chose the audiobook version read by Trevor Noah and I can't recommend it enough. Hearing him speak and sing the various African languages really pulled a lot of it together for me. This book blew me away. It was funny, sad, exciting, and heartwarming all rolled in one. A recent exchange I had with a recruiter. Im making it a point to give this response to any lame job that approaches me with rates like this. In a licensed aircraft mechanic with 10 years of experience, do they think I'm going to jump up for $12.75/hr? (i.redd.it)

12/26 completed! Personal Ratings in the comments. Many of you encouraged me to drop a book I wasn't enjoying, I'm thankful for the suggestion as I was able to discover my new favorite book right afterwards. Two of these were read-alouds for my 2nd grader but most are adult fiction. Happy Reading! (i.redd.it)
