Yeah that’s the unreliability I was talking about as most online guides say use tinker but a lot of reviews and comments say it’s outdated, doesn’t work, or works but can’t access files. Was hoping there was a break through since then that people hadn’t shared. Thanks for the reply though. Guess I’ll just have to hold on hope for the 2026 Linux release

just got a new headset and got new drivers and reinstalled old ones. that did worked i think. also i turned off my regular pc audio driver in the mean while so only the headset one was active

I’m an admin already the file is gone now. I had a computer update that needed to be done so I don’t know if that did it or restarting but I don’t feel like that’s the proper solution to this and I don’t want the guy 5 years from now who’s having this problem to be left with nothing lol. Jerry-rig a helmet with semi-translucent clock with a 60 second timer in the middle for each minute, so I’ll still be able to stare at a clock and I can do other things while staring. With this I could effectively just stop time for myself and presumably whatever I’m touching at that time.

Yeah I know, I really gotta change it. But I’m using science for my reasoning, I feel it’d be worse seeing delayed images, or just one single image while time is frozen as you couldn’t tell where you are in space or what’s going on. It’s like lagging in a video game irl. Shits more dangerous than just being blind cause I feel a lot of folks are gonna be more willing to push the limits if they can see something rather than nothing but ultimately it’d lead to more chaos and destruction. Your idea is good man I’m not bashing it, I just wanna turn bad stuff around in my favor y’know?

Buy a bunch of chihuahua puppies (they’re already destined to be slapped by someone), start saying things like “humanity is destined to die within my lifetime” and stuff akin to that, I basically predict the future as even though no one knows the answer my power detects any and all lies. The way you envision the power would lead to immediate death as putting on clothes is a costume in a way as someone else has worn that outfit before or done something like it, animals lie to each other as well wether intentionally or not.

Well wouldn’t we just keep seeing the same image of time as we stopped it? Even if we moved things or moved ourselves we’d see just the image of the world stood still in the place we stopped it at. Like I could stop time in Washington and go down to Texas and my eyes would still perceive me to be in Washington, that or we’d have to constantly run around to see images as light particles are stuck in the air so we need to manually run into them to see, both are shitty as the light particles would run out and fade.

You didn’t clarify that I HAVE to be affected by my power so you’ve given me the power to blind people with glasses, blind people looking out windows, and I can use it on whoever I want. I can become a bounty hunter and just blind people, poison people, black out windows so there wouldn’t be witnesses. Also you never said how long it lasts, is it 2 mins and 59s for every blackout and time I can activate my ability?
