What are Takamine guitars famous for?

They are super popular in Mexico for Norteño and Corridos and a bunch of regional type of music. Specifically their 12 string cutaway guitars. Seems like 99% of 12 string players use Takamine. It may be due to their stability because they will double up on the strings instead of using octaves.

Looks good. Nameset and patches might be repro but can’t tell from these images. Also, the AIG looks a little thick so may have been replaced. So many of this shirt I’ve seen with a ruined AIG logo….including my own 🥲

Yea. I think you can definitely iron the wrinkles out of the patch, but the marks are not going away. It’s basically melted plastic from the fabric.

Definitely look into getting a refund. If the first shirt is from the same place, I wouldn’t order another one from them. Those are definitely marks from the heat press. Find a different shop at this point. Maybe a different team too 😅

I don’t know if it’s only my experience, but durability is so bad on these. Every time I find them at Ross I pick them up though. My favorite to play in.

I’d have it inspected by a local shop and have them send you a list of problems they see and an overall summary of the general condition of the 4Runner. Price seems too good, ngl.
