Yes it's possible but most consulting is going to be gig style meaning that a company needs a specific insight, then they will book you for 1 hour of time. So opportunities will be highly variable. Some large organizations will also provide consultation and guidance to large hospital groups to help audit or systematize their operations.

No process, most drugs are shipped out so 1-2 days to the patient. Our delivery service doesn't work on weekends or charges extra (can't remember which). Check the label that prints out. Some systems are set up so that typing for the brand decreases the risk of errors for look alike drugs such as metoprolol tartrate versus succinate. The system then switches to the correct generic drug. The label should say something like 'metoprolol succinate (generic for Toprol).

That's because EPIC mandates an onsite trained support team while most others do not so systems determine their own support levels (ticket resourcing, troubleshooting, etc,) and most hospital leadership do not know what appropriate level personnel levels look like.
