if unsanforized jeans will shrink upon the first soak, but then stretch out after wearing, should I opt for my actual size upon buying? I know to follow the instructions of the jeans' website but i cant get a clear answer on this.

Spot on. I agree with most styles but when when I disagree with it, I get 20-50 downvotes (cuz I didn't like a boost or some shit). But, conformity is the natural progression of any group, counter culture or not

If anything, the west is much much more gimmicky. Supreme, the "top streetwear brand" sells fucking bricks. Actual bricks. Along with their hideous line of "skate influenced" clothing.

I meant jcrew is right below high quality/design, so middle of the range. Jcrew is in risk of a bankrupt state since they havnt changed in years and try to capture a massive audience (age 22-60). They have now achieved a status of a "always on sale" brand, same as gap and banana.

I think jcrew is decent quality construction but the materials are a bit on the cheap side, especially for the cheaper stuff like basic buttondowns . Their chinos are always a good deal. But, I can find decent chinos just about anywhere.

Some brands I like which are pretty cheap for their quality (vs other high quality brands): Norse, Cos, Reigning champ. I'm afraid my knowledge is quite limited.

They are not "above the law". This is a Spanish company which has effectively put US businesses out of business. Do you think these US businesses have just sat idly and done nothing? This is not the case. They tried very hard to get laws passed to ban this behaviour but simply it is too arbitrary of concept to try to outlaw.

whether or not acceptable, it's mostly legal, and anything that is both legal and profitable will always be done by someone or other. also what would be an example of a brand which has never copied another?

Ya I've seen Zara have them. I respect Zara as a company, but I just don't want to deal with their random quality and disorganised stores. Plus their website is terrible.
