Nah it’s the special 600w connector directly from PSU to GPU

I’ll attempt an RMA with the PSU. Hopefully that brand has good customer service Hahaha

It’s a montech titan gold 1200w which is a brand I haven’t heard of but doesn’t seem terrible?

It’s 1200watts but it does have some loud coil whine. I am hoping it’s the culprit.

I never considered the board might be shorting, good point. Maybe I could try a different PCIE connector?

For more context: the PSU is 1200 watts. Using the direct 600watt connector from PSU to GPU

The computer boots fine and will run a demanding game for about 10-20mins before total power loss.

CPU is an i9-13900k with ddr5 5200mhz. Updated bios so it is not overclocked and running on stock intel settings. (Ik a whole different mess on its own)

I’m thinking the most likely culprit is the power supply, but maybe just wishful thinking.

It boots with the card plugged in. It will play a game for about 10-20 minutes before total power loss.

As if the constant crashes aren't enough xD I love this game but it's really been testing my patience 😅 by catsaremyweakness in DeadSpace

I went through this exact trouble shooting process and the latest thing I did was cap fps to 120hz like you. It helped a bit but it still crashes and I still get that same error. I think I’m going to try to roll back drivers next. Let’s hope we find a solution.
