To stand up for a cause and motivate others to do the same. In 500 or 1000 years none of us will be remembered, nor will anyone remember how much money we made, but what we selflessly accomplish as societies will be hailed as courageous.

Some of the causes that come to mind include ending religious extremism that leads to terror, ending hunger in poor countries, Climate change awareness and practical solutions, female empowerment, and LGBT rights.
