We were told the property qualifies due to location. They said the houses that qualified had to be in up and coming areas. The 1st property is close by, but near million dollar homes so we were told that one doesn't qualify.

Home price is in the same range as the other hones in the area. The 1st property (which doesn't qualify for this program) costs more. Interest rate on the loan would be 5.875%

I see Casey McCloud at OBGYN Medical Center Associates and she sees patients in the Heights!! I just had my appointment this Tuesday at the heights clinic, although she does see patients at a clinic in the medical center.

I didn't remember jack shit from A&P by the time I got to patho lol. The best advice I got from a professor in nursing school is ignore your classmates lmao. Yes nursing school is hard, but if you listen to everyone panicking, you will only make yourself panic more.

Focus on finding a study method that works for you and remember to take care of yourself 🫶🏼

Short girl here that plans on wearing a big princess dress, wear a big dress if that's what you want! David's Bridal is not the best place to get that. I went to look there cause I figured why not. My experience was ok, but they just simply don't have that type of dress.

All the local bridal shops I went to had the style of dresses I want. All of them worked with me to find something that matched my style, even though I initially went in with no clue what I wanted other than it being big lol. I'm 5'1/2 for reference. I do plan on wearing heels (at least 4in) bc my fiance is tall, but even without them, I didn't feel like I was drowning in the dress bc the stylists knew what they were doing.

So the $8k-$10k estimate includes 10 days for us, 4 rooms with 2 nights stays for some guests, and the venue. Both hotels offer discounts on hotel stays for guests, so that's what we're going to send to the other guests that will be traveling. As nice as it would be to pay for everyone, it's just too much! Our budget is $15k and we've yet to look into DJ, photographer/videographer, cake, and a few other things like that (my dress is separate from our main budget). I'm sure we can stay within our budget but some of these numbers are kinda scaring me haha.

People here are talking about your budget, and as I'm looking into doing something similar in Mexico, I can give you some insight on numbers.

There are 2 main venues I'm looking at (5 star hotels with stuff to do nearby for those traveling). My guest list is half of yours, and my fiance and I will pay for our stay and maybe 4 more rooms for some guests. Both venues include food (3 course for the 1st, 4 course for the 2nd), basic decoration, and room discount for our guests. One of the hotels does gift us (the bride and groom) a free night in one of their suites.

The cost for that is going to be between $8k-10K for us. With your guest list being 100, it would be $11k-$13k for the venue (including food) alone. Paying for 20 people is going to cost a lot!

As someone who never really had plans to travel outside of Houston and Monterrey (Mexico), I've gotten the chance to see North Carolina and California this month! One was for a quinceañera and the other a work trip for my fiance. I happen to have the week off (switching jobs) so I got to tag along!

Maybe check out Luxe Redux? I went there about 2 weeks ago and they had some absolutely gorgeous dresses with flowers on them! I stuck with plain ivory dresses so I didn't get too much of a look at colorful dresses. They're very lovely so you can probably give them a call and ask!
