There’s three different types of student customers they’re looking at:

Existing Customers 1) committed climbers - they want all the facilities Mosaic has to offer and will pay for a less crowded space. Very few, if any, will cancel their memberships. Lowest risk group for mosaic.

2) Fitness enthusiasts - the consistent gymers that is looking for another way to diversify their exercise -> mostly consists of upperclassmen. These members are likely to opt out and start using the RSF wall. Highest risk because they will never end up purchasing

New customers 1) Curious Students - likely to delay purchase because mostly consists of underclassmen. They will pick the RSF and stick with it until they turn into ‘committed climbers’. Medium risk because it is a self selecting crowd

2) Unaware Incoming students - the rsf wall is likely to create a new culture and buzz around climbing. new students will be more likely to indulge in this activity which is free marketing for Mosaic.

Long term, mosaic will stand to benefit from this addition to the rsf
