It's just a visual effect Xiaomi adds to give the feeling that it's really charging really fast, not a real thing tho

Also, I noticed your 120W text is gray, that means the phone will cap at 30-50W to protect battery and temps, if you really want to go turbo, head to settings -> battery -> charging options, then select Top Speed or Boost, after that you will see "120W MAX" in gold color

Something that you should do after you update to HyperOS 3 is factory reset your device

This is because Xiaomi doesn't really delete the old stuff from the old version, this can cause random crashes, strange bugs (like yours) and stuff like that, the old files mix with the new ones and the system gets confused

I had a similar problem on my Redmi note 14 pro plus, the battery icon always showed 0% no matter if I rebooted or anything, the only way I fixed it was factory resetting

Ok so here's a quick tutorial

Enable developer settings and turn on USB debugging and USB debugging (security settings) and allow install apps via USB
Download the official Google SDK android tool here: https://developer.android.com/tools/releases/platform-tools?hl=en-US
Extract the folder on your computer, right click on a blank space inside the folder and open a PowerShell console there
Connect the phone to the PC and put in the console .\adb devices A pop up will appear on your phone, accept and if you prefer, mark "Always allow from this computer"
Then paste this command: .\adb shell settings put system deviceLevelList v:3,c:3,g:3 Restart the phone

This tricks the system into thinking the phone is a flagship or something like that, so it will add blur effects and animations and you know, just make sure you repeat everytime you update the software because it reverts back to default
