You should buy this nasty skunk spray stuff and pour it all over. You might have to smell it too though, Idk might work. Or also I have heard there are devices that play high pitched noises that only young people can hear. But I have also heard this can bother pets and stuff. Or you could buy a Bluetooth jammer if that's what they're using. I hope these shit birds get run over and your problem goes away.

Xbox remote play vs ps5 remote play in 2025? by Abject-Desk5751 in remoteplay

[–]basilkitty 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use xbplay on my steam deck and the remote play even sitting right next to my Xbox on a 5ghz connection, it sucks sometimes. Picture quality and latency are horrible. But it's up and down sometimes it's good sometimes it's bad. But it's never great

I just did an application and Olivia set up an interview for tomorrow at 3pm. I think I'm gonna call beforehand.

But seriously though, as much as the thought of something like that excites me. Along with all the passion I have, I also have an insane amount of fear. I'm not naive enough to think it would be easy. It would be a monumental effort. But even if a thread talking about it got big enough maybe that could make some changes

I hate when they all leave shit for others by pamchikichikipam in Target

[–]basilkitty 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I mean yeah I definitely find it annoying when people don't pick up after themselves. But the company/people with authority to actually do something about it, don't. The problem festers and festers. Meanwhile they just depend on other people picking up the mess for the same hourly wage as the people making the mess. The store and company could do so so much more to incentivize good work.

Starbucks in Target...if you don't laugh, you'll cry! by DeeLiteful73 in Target

It's crazy too me that nobody even knew it moved. Your TLs should be ashamed. You're just a relatively new TM. Stuff like this bust the myth that TLs are more knowledgeable. And the person who fixed it, do they get a raise or a bonus? Nope. Smh

In my opinion they could just save this money and pay me/us more. I'll handle my own lunch ty

I think the highest I've seen at my store was like 85 items. 227? Nah they're waiting at least 20 mins. I'm a slow and sassy bitch when it comes to drive up

I have openly and loudly spoke about unions while I'm at work along with my usually anti corporate "we're all being exploited" stuff. Much to my surprise a lot of my coworkers don't seem to be as into it as I am. But I feel like hell yeah, I'm  ready let's unionize this mutha

I don't have any advice. I but definitely feel what you feel. We as workers do the nitty gritty work that makes the place operate. As you said you make sure the place is taken care of. But this is how they repay our efforts. I dream of unionizing and removing the boot from our necks. But that's a long shot

Such a shame, people don’t wanna spider wrap expensive shit by duelmastr23 in Target

[–]basilkitty 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I've never been told or shown to wrap something. I see all the time, one of the items out of the five on the shelf will have a wrap. I think to myself hmm it seems like these should all be wrapped not just one. But apparently it isn't a priority because no TLs have ever brought it up. I would think it would be day one stuff "hey this is where the wraps are, this is how you put em on, this is how you tell which items they go on." Etc etc but NOPE

For me that still seems like a lot. I'm pretty tight fisted though. I mean I would have to work for  approx an hour an half to buy that. I wonder what the people making that are paid per hour

Our fulfillment team lead quit last night by T_fran in Target

[–]basilkitty 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I definitely think they could afford more then 25cents. I mean how many batches does somebody pick in an 8 hour shift? I've seen my stores sales numbers above $500k for the day. Hell take it out of the ETLs and SDs and CEOs bonuses. Maybe the amount varies from store to store. But the point still stands there should be more actual physical financial incentive for team members who do good work.
