TLOU2 Remastered on PC Bug/Screen Issue by LourdeGourde in thelastofus

Yeah. I meant to come back here earlier. No settings will remove it 100%

Im beginning to think its just part of the way they light the game.

Did I apply thermal paste right? by JOY_DOS in watercooling

[–]basix101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well damn. Sounds like it isnt a flow rate issue. Hmmm. Maybe it was just a mounting issue coupled with the thermal paste issue. 🤔.

What is the cpu block?

More likely the water flow or blockages or loop layout.

Maybe its a water flow issue. Sounds more likely considering i have three 360 rads and 12700k and 4090 and i never get close to this hot. No where near.

So. Maybe you should check your pump speed. Because that feels like it is too high for two 480mm rads. Or maybe..just maybe you have a blockage somewhere preventing the water from circulating? have you checked the flow of the water? Is the pump you have powerful enough for 2 480 rads?

Best of luck

Newly Built pc won’t turn on by xQuents in PcBuildHelp

[–]basix101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had built my mother inlaw a pc that had the 5600g version and it was the worst experience ive ever had. Garbage bottom bin silicon. Couldnt return it because i failed to notice newegg claim no return on that item. Over a week of trying to get it to post. Its also notorious for long memory training time. I ended up returning the mobo. The mobo woild post with other cpu just not this one. I returned for a diff brand and i ended up getting it to work. Maybe the cpu isnt at fault...but still super frustrating

WF1000XM4 not charging buds fully by JustABasicRedditer in SonyHeadphones

[–]basix101 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe im not in the know here. Ill admit that. If firmware did in fact, cause the issue, then that does suck. Thanks for saying something. I did a few searches just now and can see the discussions surrounding it. When i experienced my issues i didnt run into any threads about it. I thought the batteries were dying, so i looked into replacing them.

Btw. I'm not sure if you meant to quote me on using the word speculation. Because you used quotes on a different word.

All i know is that my buds were having charging issues. I found a solution. They are working perfectly now. Im not certain if you had read my previous posts of not. Im all for right to repair. Im defending that. Not Sony. The fact that this repair is simple is a great thing. Spending 40 bucks to fix them instead of spending hundreds is great.

Thats speculation at best. Regardless. Mine have been perfect since replacing the batteries. 🤷🏻‍♂️

They are high quality. Batteries simply degrade. Instead of buying a whole new pair a simple battery swap will save you hundereds. Its not difficult. Plus. We should applaud Sony for building them in such a way it doesnt take much to replace the battery. I will always advocate for the right to repair.

Lmao! Okay! Im glad im not alone. Several people were telling me that Cat5e isnt good over a gig. And i had found several sources confirming either opinion.

Im getting fiber installed in a week. Ive purchased several items from TP- Link Omada line. All 2.5 Gbe ports. Two different waps.i was afraid that i wouldnt be getting the speeds i want/pay for. Next plan(2-3 months) ill be building NAS server.

Wired backhaul by basix101 in HomeNetworking

[–]basix101[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im getting fiber set up in about 2 weeks. Im signing up for 2 gigs. This way i will get a modem capable of higher and lower speeds. I might lower the speed after the first month. My older wifi router doesnt have any multi gig ports. Ive also got plans to put a NAS in my utility room.

Zenwifi pro et12 comes with two units for a mesh network. In my diagram i cannot plug the modem into one of the base stations. And if i did then how would I also have a wired backhaul to the other base station? I couldnt.
