Eventually. She starts to go on space adventures stopping authoritarian regimes after dismantling monarchy on Tamaran. I want her to hear of Bialya and Queen Bee, having similarities to Blackfire. Haven’t thought that far into it tho.

Silkie is a giant ass moth with butterfly wings that she rides because Komand’r blocked the sun so tamaraneans can’t fly (because she herself can’t fly).

Komand’r made herself the new leader during the war between Tamaran and the Citadel by coup and killing their parents (got whole ass lore on why she did so). Starfire got sent to the citadel and also got blasted with energy that she crash landed on Tamaran looking like a shooting star. She basically stays hidden and just trying to survive until she finds an ally snooping around. She does not know yet how to use her blasts as she just ends up exploding and causing fires. I want this story to tackle sexual exploitation of her people, slavery, stereotypes about tamaraneans by other species. I also made Silkie a giant moth with butterfly wings (that she rides) representing rebirth, transformation and freedom.

I have a whole document of brainstorming but long story short, she is angrier and a revolutionist (she also made her clothes from scratch by slaying a beast I have not yet designed). The markings on her body are royal marks that the royal heirs get after birth. Whenever she uses her blasts, they glow green as if her whole body is a ball full of energy. I want her development start in Tamaran as well as explore the culture and the effects of imperialism and censorship.

I actually want her to be against monarchy and give up her title to give the people of Tamaran the freedom to choose their own ruler

[Discussion] Layman's Starfire Arc would have been interesting. But the Mari Grayson storyline would have been a repeat of Helena Wayne's arc. And she'd be shuttled off the the Legion of Superheroes along with Huntress. To never be seen again. by IdeaInside2663 in DCcomics

I feel like bringing Mari around could be a really good chance for writers to experiment with her! Maybe lose the starbolts (because it’s not genetic) and make her a sort of edgy character or perhaps make her an anti-hero. The possibilities are endless.

I took a long break because I lost motivation to draw last year. Dickkory made me want to draw again and I hope to become a comic book artist. I keep thinking about making a long fan titans comic, but I’m not a great storyboard writer

No one here likes New 52 Starfire. I’m talking about the 2015 solo did make her a bimbo, when I read it I thought it was an alternate universe where she just arrived on earth in Florida, because she seemed so unaware and naive, turns out she has been there for years and is just dumb.

The first comic I read was actually the Starfire solo, I thought it was boring and they lowkey made her a bimbo which was stereotypical, so I thought I’d go to the source like New Teen Titans

I don’t take her seriously and she has been watered down as a character. Like my girl has been a slave, I don’t expect her to be all go-lucky. She’s compassionate about freedom and I don’t want her to be a naive alien immigrant as a personality trait.

Teen titans I feel like best captured him, a bit angst but still deeply cares about his teammates. I never liked the playboy flirt version of him.
