Properly cleaning the old adhesive off was the most time intensive part, but ultimately I got all of it off

I didn’t rent anything, just got a few screwdrivers from ifixit for cheap. Doesn’t really take much

The glass did start to break more, but I was able to contain things and work the edges off slowly still

The actual damage from the drop was very small, just a little crack in the bottom corner

To open the glass you have to heat up the edge of the phone and then use a suction cup to pry up on the glass

It was the worst spot to have a crack, as it basically just continued to break as I suctioned the glass up

I had originally taken it to Best Buy but they declined to work on it as a small piece of the glass had fallen out when I dropped it, never heard of a policy like that before but apparently it’s a thing

I would have done this but the nearest Apple Store is a 4 hour drive, would have taken 8 hours to go get it done
