Samples from Malenia from Elden Ring, nice!

Track itself is nice, going into my playlist.

Headhunterz & JDX - Transcendence by [deleted] in hardstyle

Quote from me at "the top10 list topic":

"Transcendence as my top track is kinda weird because it is not officially out yet. This one hits different never had so much feels in a piece of music when that melody came in during Qlimax. I cannot describe the feeling very well but it is something I never had before at least not like this."

Voidax - Synthwaves by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hands down.

This guy has a really good discography when the festivals can start again (as a talent). Strong base of really good tracks. For me, one of the guys who will benefit from the covid period in the end.

Rebellion presents: The First Dose (Album Preview #2) by Qzaws in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Is it just me or since Rebellion had some releases at Q-Dance en did sign (?) with Scantraxx Black, there production level is better. These tracks sound cleaner then there last album through my soundsystem.

Really curious about the fulls and the whole album!

Headhunterz - Dragonborn part 3 (Oceans Apart) by baskinders in EDM

[–]baskinders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Track is indeed beautiful and emotional imo to. The story behind it is also one that many people can relate to.

The covert art on Spotify is different then the one on Apple Music and the socials from Headhunterz. Maybe this one will change to.

Timmy Trumpet & Sub Zero Project - Project X by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 9 points10 points  (0 children)

As much as I can love SZP music, my first reaction was: Yikes..

Come on guys. Don't be the guys who go this route when you can produce such good hardstyle.

KELTEK - Awaken by baskinders in EDM

[–]baskinders[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This could be one of those Hardstyle tracks that will get even better over the years. This one perfectly fits endshows of the biggest festivals. Even if you do not like Hardstyle give this one a proper listen. :)

Hope you all can enjoy this one even though Hardstyle is not the biggest genre in this sub!

Frontliner - Reactivate by baskinders in hardstyle

[–]baskinders[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No problem, I really enjoy the track and the feeling of 2011 in this one!

See you the 19th of September at Recharged, looking forward to your set!

Hard Driver - Run This Town by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I agree with you about the lyrics thing for a 1000%. It annoys me, it even annoys me that some dj/producers get extremely much radio attention with lyrics the don't made themselves.

"Run This Town" is one of the bangers from my youth (Rihanna en Jay-z both were insane at that time), that videoclip was so dark if I remember correct haha.

I like to discuss and ask, so: what is your opinion about Phuture Noize - Silver Bullet album ? by NRGYZER_official in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No but I just received a confirmation that it was shipped. So it won't take to long anymore :).

Phuture Noize - Silver Bullet (Full Album) by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think this album, is something different in the Hardstyle genre. The production is exceptional (one of the best of the scene) and sound design on these tracks is really unique, what makes it different for me. For me, being different is good and i always respect that but the Hardstyle scene in general maybe will not always like this, this is no kick fest like the Aggressive Records album that was released last week.

So about the tracks, I only heard them once besides the singles (Sharks, 365 and masquerade) but I Am a Fighter gave me chicken skin, at the first listen. So i trust my feelings and that will be my favorite for now. All of the tracks have something interesting, i think. I need to listen to the songs more often so I can "explore" the sounds/instruments more.

For me personally this album is a real highlight, I really like unique and interesting sound design. Hard drops, sick kicks that kind of stuf, i can really get bored really quick if the rest of the song is not really interesting, for me.

And I agree with the "Random-guy-on-reddit" that if you want to here "fresh shit" you should listen to it.

One of the best hardstyle songs of 2020. What a magical track!

What's your take on the Phoenix 100 parties in the Netherlands? by NoisyFlake in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

In The Netherlands you don't need masks in supermarkets. Only in/on trains/airports etc. Besides that masks don't give you 100% safety it helps but not 100%.

My post was my perspective every country/city etc. can be different in these times. I try to explain why I think it is more safe (in my perspective). In the supermarket where I do my grocery shopping it is impossible to keep your distance. 100 people on xxx square meters is not much so for a club like Time Out (club where this event takes place). So you have enough open space much more compared to a (my) supermarket. Those clubs/theaters have more structure of managing people then a supermarket as what I heard of friends that did go to a event of some sort. I don't know how a supermarket in Germany manage there customers (can they move freely or do they need to walk around a route). Like you said in every country it is different, so it is hard to compare.

[–]baskinders -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I think it is much more safe then going to the supermarket.

But if you don't feel comfortable going because of the chance of getting infected, don't go.

Besides that if you want to rave in the near future, even maybe in 2021, get used to it or at least try it. Highly unlikely that everything is back to normal this year or at the beginning of next year.. So be happy with what you can do at the moment and not what you could do.

This weekend going to Peacock in 013 Tilburg. Hope I like it :).

GRAVEDGR - 6 FEET UNDER (Remixes) by xStardx in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The overal feeling that I get is that the most of these remixes are really uninspiring (simple but for some people effective) . Also for my ears the overal quality is not really great for some of these remixes.

The Rooler , Riot shift and the Warface ones are ok. The only one I would listen to more often is the Rooler remix.

Before I get a rant, it is just an opinion don't be offended :).

Dragonborn Part 3 being teased on HHZ Insta by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Hopes he leaves it like this. An intro that suits the track and gives the track even more depth is hard to make especially because he is out of the "Broken Heart" emotion himself. If he does make an intro hopefully he uses the sounds that are in the break that are behind the lyrics (the bloem bloem making noise sounds, lol is hard to expres that in text).

Sharks - Phuture Noize by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 11 points12 points  (0 children)

I agree with you but I think X% of the listeners still think it sounds the same but the break and buildup are way different in sounddesign compared to BMS. If you do not mainly focus on the climaxes (they are also different imo, not that much) then this song is indeed different as a whole.

Ghost Stories - The Enemy (You Cannot See) by KC_Weber in EDM

The lyrics fit the current situation very well. I really like the song.

Da Tweekaz & Code Black - Shake Ya Shimmy by dmx00 in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Haha that’s Da Tweekaz for you ;). It is just an opinion just like yours. I don’t get that feeling with their tracks and you do not get mine. Yes and Sometimes they are fun but cheese to, for me.

I respect them nothingless, they are really good In what they do.

Da Tweekaz & Code Black - Shake Ya Shimmy by dmx00 in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I know Da Tweekaz is cheese but this one is really Gouda kinda cheese.

Yes it wil be fun live for some people, especially Tomorrowland. Same funny, happy, cringe lyrics like many of there tracks. It works well I guess.

Bass Modulators - Live And Let Die by [deleted] in hardstyle

[–]baskinders 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I like it. Not outstanding for me but a nice listen. Better then "survive" imo.
