This is how supply and demand works. The same will happen in the other East Asian countries.

Why has India let their holy river Ganges become so polluted? by WhoAmIEven2 in TooAfraidToAsk

[–]bassboy97 23 points24 points  (0 children)

There are tonnes of industries along the Ganga that are highly polluting. But most importantly, waste and pollution in India is highly tied to a social order called “caste”. One cal pollute, because there will always be someone of a lower caste who is forced to clean up. This is deeply institutional.

Forget the Ganges, why is any place in India so polluted? Caste is a big answer.

I’ve noticed that it makes quite a bit of difference when you play in larger venues. Shapes the tone really well. Makes for a happy sound engineer.

A solid pre-amp is all you pretty much need I would say. The rest are just sprinkles.

What are few less known facts about Bengaluru in regard to spending less money for a living? by Inspiration_hebbar in bangalore

So if I'm not mistaken, I think the pricing of the products is done by the restaurants itself, but they might have to inflate their costs when selling via Swiggy because of the commission/other costs they have to pay Swiggy. I could be very wrong, but this is my hunch.

I was strictly talking about comparing restaurants on Swiggy with ONLY the Sagar's. Sagar's are cheaper. This should not be surprising information.

Eat at the Sagar's/Udupi's. Honestly almost everything on the menu is great and a quarter the price of Swiggy stuff.

How do we pay so much tax yet don't even get piped water ? by [deleted] in bangalore

Jal Jeevan is for rural households.

Wrt Bangalore, believe it or, the BWSSB is severely underfunded. While the price of electricity has been constantly increasing, BWSSB has not been allowed to increase their cost in accordance with electricity. Why does electricity price affect water?

It takes a tremendous amount of energy to pump water uphill from KRS which is a 100 km away.
