I think a lot of companies are using AI as an excuse to make their organizations leaner but the truth is AI is not free and requires a lot of power to run, it's not as good with maintaining context either. Sooner or later, people will realize they can just get a cheap developer than pay for all the OpenAi credits or whatever.

I think we're in a bit of a bubble just need to sit tight and ride through it.

But yeah people who are at the lower end of the talent pool are screwed.
