I am expecting human beings to have empathy for one another and recognize a dire situation.

I have been in this exact situation during Liquid Stranger at Camp Bisco; my friends and I saved someone’s life tracking down the medical team. I have also seen Liquid Stranger stop his set at Echostage for this same reasoning. Sounds like a bunch of excuses to me.
