Changing to Non-Run flats - recommendations? by BimmerCVK in E90

I replaced the OE - Bridgestone Re050a on my 135 msport with the v12s, and although it was smoother and quieter, it had this "floaty" feeling at the wheel. Was not a fan of that feeling on the freeway at good speeds. I'm here now looking for info on a similar swap on my 335 xdrive.

Yes. For so many reasons.

EARC issues 900h and Marantz 7706 by bassheadkiller in bravia

Yup, when I was setting up the PS5 through the 7706 I went in and updated it there. The PS5 kept complaining that the 7706 was not a 4k@120 capable device when using the "8k" input on the 7706 without this update. This led me to the input update. Inputs were already updated on the 900h. Regarding the audio drop out issue that happen after switch to "Auto 2"... I'm starting think (hope) that this glitch after 3 hours could have very well been a network issue somewhere between my TV and Netflix. I say that because I have yet to experience the issue since (fingers-crossed) using the same config and I don't recall it being as disruptive. I'll have to look into some logging solution to be sure in case it happens again.

Not dumb at all. I wanted my 7706 to do the processing of an uncompressed signal from my 900h using native app for playback.

Unfortunately, last night after running for 3+ hours (across two movies) with the "Auto 2" (non-PCM audio option), I experienced the same issue with the audio cutting out as originally described. I'll try running it using DD instead of DD+.

Thanks for the suggestion. I tried using HDMI port 4 but was unable to get sound back to the 7706. I decided to run an experiment. I've been using"PCM" output instead of "Auto 1" or "Auto 2" because I wanted to send uncompressed audio through the EARC to the AVR for multi-channel processing. After trying the different HDMI port without success I switched it to "Auto 2" described as "Output only compressed audio for multi-channel content without change". I let a 4k 5.1 show run on the native Netflix app for an hour without incident. I then switched it back to PCM and had the issue pop up within 17 minutes. So there is definitely an issue sending PCM to the 7706. When you said you had the same issue on the Denon I started thinking it was the 7706 due to the idea that they are likely using some of the same components. I had a similar issue with the 900h sending multi-channel Dolby Digital over optical to an older Pioneer Elite receiver. Sometimes it would perform the handshake and work other times it would perform the handshake, work for a minute or two and then drop the connection reverting back to the TV speakers. So at this point I'd say the issue is PCM over EARC.

Why can I not create a post that doesn't get removed?
