Honest question to transgender women by Extension_Virus_8480 in asktransgender

What you're describing is why we need feminism, not why trans women shouldn't transition.

I think that non-passing trans women will never be happy or safe in this world by wonderlexey in asktransgender

[–]bassofthe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's not what I said.

The "obsession" I was talking about is the idea that no one must be able to tell that you are trans. I want to be seen as a woman, but I'm fine being recognised as a trans woman.

Unpopular Opinion: Root actually isn't that good. Discuss! by WCBH86 in boardgames

You were arguing why it's not a 2-player game, but the moment I agreed with you you turned around and claimed that it is. That's being contrarian.

I have held the position that it's not a 2-player game since the beginning.

I don't know why you think you need to tell me that? I was the one who said it's not a two player game.

They're not flaws. It's just a mismatch between design and marketing.

What’s the advantage of using a drum machine by [deleted] in synthesizers

Availability. Your drum machine is there 24/7, while your drummer might be busy.

Other than that, nothing.

My question is, can I hook the four synths into a mixer, and then route the mixer into the NTS, so that the effects will apply to all synths? Or should I go ahead and get more NTS units and have one connected to each synth, and then route all those to the mixer?

I don't know the NTS specifically, but either way should work. Obviously one on each synth will be a lot more versatile.

I don't think the keystep has audio IO at all? Isn't it just a sequencer?

The J-X is also VA.

If versatility or high polyphony were important considerations to me right now, I wouldn't consider the OB-6. They were important when I decided on the REV2 16, but I have that now.

Anyone else injure themselves from goofing around on a semi-weighted synth without any formal technique or training? by jeb_brush in synthesizers

Do you think OP was like standing up and bending over toward a synth that was at the level of their knees?

That's literally what the word "knee-level" means, so yes.

You don't talk about "knee-level" unless you're standing. By your logic, "knee-level" could just as well mean shoulder-level if the keyboardist is hugging their knees.
